Fall 2014 Faculty Symposium

P1060635Changing Roles, Perceptions & Expectations: Faculty in the American Research University Unicoi Conference Center – Helen, GA April 4-5, 2014 The 2014 Academic Affairs Faculty Symposium examined the changing roles, perceptions and expectations of UGA faculty. Participants discussed how changing faculty roles and expectations impact the quality of their work and their contributions to the University’s missions. Activities examined include faculty recruiting, retention, mentoring, professional development, leadership, engagement, entrepreneurship and fund-raising. The purpose of the symposium was to explore and develop strategies for enhancing the university environment for UGA faculty.
